It's in the Bag

Saving the environment is hard work. Luckily, you have friends in high places who can help.

Back in 2008, three women from Denver recognized the need for a more earth-friendly produce bag and set out to make it a reality. Their quest led to the creation of the company Belief Beyond Bags (3B for short) and the 3B Reusable Produce Bag Pack.

This set of three see-through nylon mesh bags can be used to hold apples, onions, peppers and more. The drawstring bags come in two sizes, 11x14 inches and 14.5x18.5 inches, with each set containing two of the smaller sizes and one larger one.

They're machine-washable and small enough to be kept in a purse or pocket or stored in your reusable grocery tote.

At $7.50 for the set, it doesn't take much to be earth-conscious.
